Dr. Ayodele was born on August 22, 1952 in Iju, Ondo State, Nigeria to Enoch and Elizabeth Oluwafunmike Ayodele. He studied Chemical/Petro-Chemical Engineering in the early 1970s at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. After graduation, he worked briefly with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation before embarking on his early dream of starting his own international business focused on the import/export of water purification/treatment chemicals. After immigrating to the U.S, he and his family would eventually settle in Arizona. It is here where he and his wife, a registered nurse, would go on to found additional businesses including a nursing agency and then a nursing school.

Throughout his life, Dr. Ayodele had a passion for learning and was a seeker of knowledge which led him to pursue higher education. He attended Arizona State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities in 2007 and a Master of Liberal Studies in 2009. In 2014, he completed a Doctor of Education program with emphasis in Organization Development and Leadership at Grand Canyon University. At the time of his death, he was the President and co-owner of Star Canyon School of Nursing and was adjunct faculty at Ottawa University-Phoenix. He was also a doctoral candidate supervisor at Grand Canyon University and a mentor at University of the People.

Dr. Ayodele loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was continuously engaged in ministry throughout his life in Nigeria and the United States. In 2013, he founded Faith-Life Gospel Ministries and used this platform to support and nurture local churches. Dr. Ayodele is remembered fondly for his warmth, his generous spirit, and infectious laughter. He enjoyed spending time with his wife Regina Ayodele, children Elizabeth Ayodele, Maranatha Ayodele, David Ayodele, and Joseph Ayodele, and grandchildren Clara Oluwakemi and Eve Oluwadara. He also enjoyed counseling his adult children as well as his various adopted “god-children” on topics such as marriage, Christianity, work, love, and life. He was a shining light in the lives of all those who knew him.
